Login failed for user '<token-identified principal>'

If you receive an error message with the title "Couldn't load the data for this visual" and the message:

Login failed for user '<token-identified principal>'. The server is not currently configured to accept this token.

Then you've likely configured the semantic model to connect to the Aimplan database through Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)

This is usually the result of checking the checkbox at the bottom of the datasource settings. "Report viewers can only access this data source with their own Power BI identities using DirectQuery." When this is enabled, you are instructing Power BI to use Entra ID Authentication instead of the basic authentication you configured earlier, which causes the authentication to fail.
