Introduction

The Aimplan Status Visual revolutionize your workflow by seamlessly tracking progress and managing statuses directly within your Power BI reports. With the Aimplan Status Visual, empower your team to set and monitor project statuses effortlessly. Whether it's marking tasks as "In Progress," "Completed," or "Pending Review," this visual streamlines communication and enhances collaboration.

The Status Visual can be downloaded from AppSource. Simply click on the "Get more visuals" option from within the visualization pane, and then search for "Aimplan Status Visual".

Once added, you can click on the new Status Visual Icon to add the visual to your workspace.



When dragging in the first key, the visual will try to contact your database to get information.

If you have access to several Instances in Aimplan, you'll be given an option to choose which Instance you want to work with. If you only have access to one instance, this instance will automatically be chosen.

There are three mandatory fields that must be dragged in to the visual:

You will be notified in the visual of which fields you need to drag into the visual.

When the mandatory fields have been added, you must ensure that the visual retrieves data. If it doesn't, you'll be notified about it. To make sure data is provided, you can right-click on a key field and choose "Show items with no data".



When you choose to display all items, you might encounter an overload of data depending on the number of Subprocess and Scenario keys in the database. If the Visual can't identify a unique Scenario-Subprocess key combination, you'll receive a message indicating this issue. To resolve it, you'll need to filter out a specific Scenario and Subprocess using a slicer or a page filter.

When unique Scenario & Subprocess key have been filtered out, you should see the statuses that have been defined in the process.
