Highlight Data
Working In Power BI, you probably cross filter your visualizations on a daily basis. When using the input function in Planning & Reporting, you click on values to change inputs, making a automated cross filtering something that would flicker your visualisations when you don’t want to, stealing performance and distracting your eyes. Therefore we have added the Highlighting Function.
By right-clicking on a cell in your Planning and Reporting Visual, you can now highlight data in your other visuals, for example displaying the details and invoices for the underlying transactions.

If you use the Planning and Reporting Visual without the input function, you probably won’t click around as much on each cell, meaning you might want an easier way than to right-click what you want to cross filter. Therefore, we also added the Auto Highlight Function, enabling cross filtering your other visuals on the same page, by simply clicking on any value in your visual.
