Controlling Data Access
When designing and publishing Power BI Aimplan reports with the Aimplan visuals, there are three levels of data access control, all controlled by Power BI;
Level 1: You decide to publish specific Power BI reports to specific users or groups of users (like you do with any other Power BI report)
This will prevent users that should not be able to edit any data to access the Power BI reports with the Aimplan custom visuals for planning/forecasting/data editing etc
Level 2: By using Power BI Row Level Security (RLS), you can control which users or groups should see, and be able to work with, which data. For example; you can limit a group of users to just access one cost center, or edit data for a specific market or similar.
I.e. in the Power BI slicers where they select what cost center, market, product group, or similar, they will only see “their” dimension members.

Level 3: By using Power BI “Dynamic Row Level Security” you can on an even more granular level control which user will be able to work with what data.
