Row Comments

1min

Entering 2024, you can now add comments on rows, making your planning and forecasting even more dynamic. The comment value works similarly to the numeric values you add, meaning you can add comments on a total row and allocate it to the underlying rows if you want, or you can add them directly at the lowest level. For example, you can add a general comment for when you expect a price increase to hit, or add specific comments for big vendor changes or other known factors that you expect will affect the outcome.

Add Row Comments to your Planning and Reporting Table by choosing String as Data Type and Unique as Aggregation Strategy. The value will be stored in your chosen Fact Table on your StringValue Column as an Integer.

Remember to have a unique measure to store your Comment Values on as it will be stored on the same keys as your other planned values on that specific row and will override your previous inputs if stored on the same measure key.
